Jelani Williamson joined Investure ‘s Investment team in 2024. Previously, Jelani worked at BlackRock as a fundamental active equity portfolio manager, focusing on growth and impact investments. Earlier in his career Jelani was an investor at HGGC, a middle-market private equity firm, where he was a generalist.

Jelani holds a BA in Anthropology and Economics from Georgetown University, an MS in Applied Analytics from Columbia University, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. In addition to his work in finance, Jelani is on the board of Wanda’s House, a non-profit dedicated to serving the homeless population in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
